If you enter a name or case number in a search tool on this website, the query is sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the request and returns its result. We do not retain or log the search terms on our own systems.

No Court-Record Data on File
Vinton County Court Docket does not host, keep, compile, or sell databases of court dockets or personal case-record information. We provide general guidance about where Vinton County records are maintained: CourtView for Vinton County Court of Common Pleas docket entries, CaseLook for Vinton County Court records, and the appropriate court office for other divisions. Ohio has no single public statewide trial-docket portal that replaces those local systems.
We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Information collected from visitors is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party records.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes used on this site. Information entered there is handled under the provider's privacy policy, rather than this policy. Those providers control their own retention and sharing practices, so review their policies before submitting a query.

Our pages link to clerk and court websites, CourtView, CaseLook, legal-aid resources, and outside search tools. Following a link takes you to a site we do not operate, where that site's privacy policy controls. Read that policy before providing personal information.

Ohio's Public Records Act, R.C. 149.43, and court-record access under Ohio Rules of Superintendence Rule 45, address records held by public offices and courts, not this private website. Court case documents may also be subject to the personal-identifier and access limits in R.C. 2303.901. At a minimum, you can:
